Coach Steel was born and raised in Ontario, Canada where she played volleyball, basketball, soccer and participated in track and field events for Blenheim District High School.
She attended Briar Cliff University on a full basketball scholarship where she was an All American for three years. She was an Assistant Basketball Coach at Briar Cliff University for two years. After graduating with a Masters in Physical Education and Psychology, she moved to Florida to teach and coach at Dr. John Long Middle School.
She is currently the director for Club Steel Volleyball and Steel Skillz Sports Academy with 20 years of volleyball coaching experience.
Our mission is to teach and train young athletes what it means to truly succeed. Our desire is to help them to develop an unshakable confidence on and off the court, to grasp their uniqueness and to pursue their goals with passion and enthusiasm.

We believe in providing all athletes with the opportunity to improve on their game. This includes learning the proper techniques, having a great attitude, learning to persevere and strive for excellence as well as developing a mental toughness that allows the athlete to reach their highest potential. We focus on the process of improvement. Winning is about becoming the best player you can be in all aspects of the game.
Club Steel Volleyball provides a highly competitive, team-oriented experience that focuses on character and skill development.
We are looking for athletes that have a desire to learn, have great attitudes, are team players, are coachable, and have the skills necessary to fill a role on a competitive travel team.
