Camps are designed to group players of similar skill levels together to maximize drills and repetitions. Each skill level will have drills catered to their level of play. Led by the experienced Steel coaching staff, campers will be able to gain a personal knowledge of the game that will serve them well on their next team.
Volleyball clinics are designed to offer a program based on a designated skill or goal. For example a clinic for all players who play in the setter position, or a clinic for all beginners who are new to volleyball. Volleyball lessons are available to players who are looking to improve their personal abilities with one-on-one training with the experienced Steel coaching staff. Lessons can either be private or you can share them in small groups with your favorite teammates.
Volleyball leagues are designed to offer weekly team-play based on age and/or skill level. We offer a variety of leagues, so be sure to check our calendar for one that fits your needs as a player.

Our Spring and Fall Training Series was designed to allow athletes to gain experience training with a team and learning the rules and skills of game play. This program begins with a team placement session wherein we group athletes based on age and skill level to their designated coach

Please remember that these participants are still learning so encouragement is greatly appreciated and needed. Be patient with the process. The goal is for each player to improve over the course of the season and/or program. We understand many people view winning as their definition of success, but improvement is a success in and of itself.
GRADES 1 - 4
Practice will be 30 minutes. Then we will play the best of 3 games. The first two games will be to 15 points. A team must win by 2 points with a cap at 17. If each team each wins one game, a tie break game will be necessary. This 3rd game will go to 10 points, win by 2 with a cap at 12. There is also a time limit in place for these games. If we are close to the time limit for the match, the games will be shortened. Points are only scored when a serve goes into play. Missed serves will not be scored. Each girl will get 2 serves regardless of the result of the serve. We will allow these girls to move into the court if needed in order to begin a rally to allow for more player involvement.
GRADES 5 - 10
Practice will be 30 minutes. Games will begin as soon as the previous match on the court is finished. We will play the best of 3 games. The first two games will be to 25 points. A team must win by 2 points with a cap at 27. If each team each wins one game, a tie break game will be necessary. This 3rd game will go to 15 points, win by 2 with a cap at 17. There is also a time limit in place for these games. If we are close to the time limit for the match, the games will be shortened. We will allow these girls to step into the court if needed in order to begin a rally. Once a player has served 4 times in a row, the team will keep serving; however, they will rotate. This allows more player involvement.
